MAHAMAHIND International Dhammadoot Society
The Mahamahind International Dhammadoot Society was established in the year 1969 with a initial members of 70 with the constructive aim to achieve social cause through dhamma and education. Since the last 55 years the membership has rose to 270 along with the steady graph of development. The Society started the "Takshashila Vidyalaya" a educational school for the children of downtrodden and common mass. The school starting from a mere 2-3 classroom's has developed into a vast 55 classroom arena within the circumference of 3.5 acre campus, including a Play ground and a stage for performing art and cultural programmes.
The first batch of Marathi medium comprising of 13 students and 7 in the English medium has rose to the volume of 2500 students in the year 2024 . The school comprises of primary section, secondary section and the junior college inclusive of all the three faculties Arts/ Commerce and Science. The school boasts of advanced E- Classroom ( one for each medium) , I.T lab , well cultured Library, gymnasium, cricket turf and a canteen. The school imparts best quality education through - out with ninety well qualified teacher's and twenty office staff. The first batch of Marathi medium appeared in 1981 secured 57% result and the percentage of success rose to 96% simultaneously.
